| History House Museum |
 The History House Museum,
operated by the Preston County Historical Society, is housed in the
three story former Terra Alta Bank building which opened in 1892. Thirteen of the rooms and
two vaults are open to the public. The museum collection includes railroad items,
photographs, maps, firearms, antique tools, arrowheads, Indian artifacts and Civil War
Memorabilia. The History House is also the repository of the Bucklew Collection, assembled
by Leroy S. Bucklew, a cabinetmaker, carpenter, musician and life long resident.
